Tetsu hub bearings allows your wheels to turn smoothly and progressively as you drive. They improve fuel efficiency by reducing friction between the frame and the wheel and the axle. All hub units are developed with an advanced steel formula providing superior durability.
First generation hub units are double row angular contact bearings and double row tapered roller bearings with back to back duplex outer rings
All Gen1 bearings are maintenance free. They are greased and sealed for life, maximizing the life of the bearing. All parts are designed based on their specific vehicle.
Second generation hub units are first generation hubs with an outer race added to the flange.
The flange is made from a resistant material since the brake and wheels are mounted through its threaded holes. Each flange is designed based on their specific vehicle.
Third generation hub units have two separate flanges and a double row angular contact ball bearing. Gen3 hub units that are used in vehicles with ABS contain a wheel speed.
The addition of an inner ring flange increases the dynamic load carrying capacity. The outer ring flange is mounted to the suspension system through its bolts. The inner ring is mounted to the brake and wheel through its threaded holes.
